Rare Late Ordovician long-stemmed Ectenocrinus crinoid from the sandy shale layers of the Whetstone Gulf Formation of Central New York. Crinoids from this unit are scarce. Stem and calyx measures 10.5cm, with calyx and arms measuring 3cm. There is a Cryptolithus bellulus trilobite cephalon on the plate as well along with many other crinoid stems.
