Excellent and rare antique match safe / postage stamp holder compliments of THE WASHINGTON BREWERY COMPANY from Washington D.C.

Very scarce advertising collectible fro the 1800s.

The Washington Brewery Company was a beer brewery in Washington, DC. It operated from 1890 to 1917 on Square 811 (bounded by 4th, 5th, E and F Street NE)

Great patina / personality achieved after a long life of over 100 years. A true antique.
