This vintage 1970's Sheffield day-date diver watch is in very nice overall condition. Mint condition dial and precisely running movement. Original lume on the hands and dial still glows after exposure to the bright lightThe bezel rotates smoothly in both directions, the way it was initially designed on these type of watches. Chrome plated case is in great condition with some minor oxidation. The crystal shows some minor wear. But there is no deep scratches.Mov...ement is a manual wind 45 hour power reserve, Strong running and Timegrapher tested to +/- 9 Seconds a day which is perfect for a manual wind timepiece. Day and date function working correctly and changes the way it should. Quickset is working as well. Day changes done by rolling over forward until desired day is set and the date done by moving back and fourth from 21.30 to 24Hr. until desired day is set.This watch measures 40.5 mm without the crown, 43.5 mm including the crown and 19 mm between the lugs. Case thickness 10.5mm including the crystal Spiedel Stainless bracelet looks to be a replacement. Fitts up to 7 3/4" wrists.
