LORILLARD, 16, 18 & 20 CHAMBERS STREET, N.Y. MANUFACTURERS OF FINE CUT CHEWING TOBACCO, Choice Granulated Smoking, Cut Smoking, YELLOW SNUFFS AND BLACK SNUFFS, AND DEALERS IN FINE PLUG TOBACCOS, IMPORTED AND DOMESTIC CIGARS, German Clay Pipes and Tin Tobacco Boxes", with a list of their Manufactories in... NYC, and Leaf Ware Houses at Louisville, KY, Halifax County, Va. and Reidsville, N.C.Lists dozens and dozens of their products under various brand names, packaged in barrels, boxes, kegs, bags, tin foil packages, tin cans, etc., as well as dozens of different named cigars. The last page has the tax law of July 20, 1868 which has new regulations for dealers of tobacco, with respect to revenue stamps, and packaging, and an opinion from E.A. Rollins, Commissioner of Internal Revenue, to P. Lorillard, that it will be permissible for dealers to sell Snuff "at retail, from bladders and jars stamped as provided in the Law". Folds.
