TEDDY KNUDSEN " DUNHILL SHELL ODA 844 " POKER ESTATE PIPE

The story behind this incredible Knudsen is that years ago a big time collector had an old Dunhill Shell ODA 844 that he loved and wanted Teddy to replicate it. While the dimensions are slightly different than the original, Teddy's rendition is superb! A classic Poker it has a tall cylindrical bowl with ultra thick walls surrounding the deep chamber. Flat on the bottom, the pipe rests comfortably and transitions with no difference in height to the thick round shank that tilts slightly ...away from the bowl and meets the original vulcanite stem with straight bit. The finish is almost exact replica of a Dunhill Shell, warm with red accents while the blast is quite nice showing 360 degree uniform ring grain telling me this was a phenomenal block of straight grain briar. In superb condition overall this Teddy is ready to enjoy and is an excellent opportunity to pick up a more rare and custom made piece.
