1973 Vintage 38mm Pulsar P2 Tiffany & Co. Wrist Watch James Bond model Vintage Rare NOT RUNNING has original batteries but this did not run with new ones but looks very nice. The date code in the band is 10-73 for 1973. The magnet is in the band. just a great non running watch with original module marked 3013. There is a place where you can get a module fix for L100 pounds and if they can will fix this module. A rare watch looking good.The P2 in stainless steel aka "Astronaut" wase...ndorsed in 1973 by Roger Moore in the first five minutes of "Live and LetDie" from the James Bond&;007 series. The " target="_blank">P2" is the firstmass produced electronic display LED watch in the World. It was marketedstraight after the very first LED the "P1" presented in 1972 byPulsar Time Computer. Pulsar watches as the first LEDs in the World werepositioned as revolutionary top-shelf wrist-gadgets for the quality andtechnology oriented customers. Pulsar was the first of a few digital-watchproducers who offered solid-gold cases and even Tiffany stores ordered Pulsarswith their own logo printed on the red crystal. Pulsar never lowered thequality of their watches and the retail price for a stainless steel P2 was setat 295$ which was a lot of money back then. Light Emmiting Diodes byLitronix were one of the most expensive components of a LED watch and Pulsarnever decided to cut corners and use plastic lenses to enlarge smaller diodes.Quality and visibility of the LEDs was vital and thus displays were encapsuledin durable epoxy giving large and easy readouts.
