DUNHILL 1989 ROOT BRIAR ZULU SHAPE 3421 ESTATE PIPE

I've always felt Dunhill did the Zulu better than any other make, a classic and sleek shape that belongs in every collection. This 1989 is a timeless Root Briar finish and a gorgeous one indeed. Shape 3421 is perfect in all facets with its thick walls and lovely forward cant and quite lightweight at only 28g. The chamber although modest still offers plenty of capacity and a healthy Group 3. Shank flows effortlessly with smooth lines and is thick at the transition while oval and taperin...g to meet the original down-turned vulcanite stem with fishtail bit and crisp white spot. The Root Briar finish is warm and inviting while the grain shows off loads of swirling birdseye on the flanks with tons of depth and fine cross grain to the front and rear just offset. Clean throughout and hard to believe this one is 31 years old, it remains in its prime and promises an exceptional smoke!

Condition: Excellent. Chamber is clean and sound. Rim has a touch of darkening on the interior edge. Stem is beautiful. Superb! Weight: 28g
