Up for auction here is a Vintage Apple IIe 2e Personal Computer with Duo Disk Drive and Books and a container of disks. Item is in good to fair cosmetic condition with usual signs of use such as scuffs, scrapes and scratches. We did plug in this unit and it did power on as you can see in the photos. However, the light on one side of the Duo Drive did not come on. We will also be listing the Apple IIe Monitor soon, so keep your eyes out. No further t...esting has been done so actual working condition is unknown. Item is being sold "as is" for parts, repair or restoration only, due to no knowledge of the units and how to work them. Please keep your eyes open, because we will also be listing some other units like Commodore 64's and Kaypro Computers. Estate find. ** This equipment is part of a silent-key estate, all items have been in a storage, sometimes for many years. We have not done any testing beyond what is specifically mentioned above. There are a few reasons for this, but it essentially it comes down to the fact that they almost always need some level of service whether it is a cleaning or just a fine tuning. It may or may not need components replaced (caps, resistors, tubes, etc), controls cleaned/lubricated, alignment, and so on. Again, this unit is being sold 100% as-is. **
