Vintage Omega Seamaster 120m “Alveoles”
Age: 43.6 million serial number dates it to 1984.
Case: Original 37mm stainless steel case in good condition. Case shows general signs of wear throughout, but looks to have the original factory brushed finish - case edges are sharp and clear. Bezel has a “dimpled” effect at each hour, with a circular brush finish; combined with the integrated bracelet it’s quite a trendy look at the moment. C...rown is the original push button for the minutes, although it works it has some corrosion and would likely benefit from replacement. Crystal is mineral or sapphire and looks original with no scratches. Snap down caseback has a vertical brush finish with a few faint tool marks. Inside of caseback is stamped ref. 396.0908.
Dial: Fantastic original white dial with applied markers and engraved rehaut. These models typically were with black dials or gold with the two-tone variations, the white dials are quite uncommon. Note the even and very nicely toned lume at the end of the intermediate markers and the hands.
Movement: Original Omega Cal. 1342, which runs and keeps reasonable time, although it has an unknown service history. Needless to say, no guarantees are made for water resistance - buyer is to assume it is not water resistant at all!
Band: Original integrated bracelet ref 1315/ 364, in good condition. Long length will fit around a 7.5” wrist.
