This is a 1995 AlphaSmart Pro PDA.
It was created by two alumni of Apple Computer who created a company called Intelligent Peripheral Devices, Inc.
This AlphaSmart Pro v2.1.2 Model ALF-C01 is equipped with a 4 line LCD grayscale screen and is capable of storing up to 64 pages of text (128, 000 bytes), holding 16 pages in the first file, 8 pages in files two through five, 6 in files six & seven, and 4 pages on file number eight.
This AlphaSmart Pro is laid out to ...look like an Apple II/Mac computer. It has a password protective feature.No other specs are available.
It uses 3 AAA batteries (rechargeable or alkaline, not included) which have a relatively long use in normal operation.
Connectivity can be through PCs and Macs. There is an Apple compatible ADB Port and a PS/2 port for PCs.
