Antique double entry doors from a house built in 1867. 53" wide (each door 26.5") x 95" tall. The doors are in excellent condition and work properly. The complete frame and sill are included and are also in excellent condition. The glass is cylinder glass and appear to be original as there is no evidence that the molding has been removed to replace the glass. There is no degradation of any of the wood and it appears that the original first coat of paint is still in place. The paint is ...not adhered well and is falling off and the doors will be easy to strip. The mail slot may not be original as it doesn't appear to be as heavy as metal used in 1867. There is a mechanical doorbell that was attached to the interior of the stationary door that is functionable, however the exterior lever is missing. This is in the Mills Seed Co. Architectural Resources building in Washington, Iowa. Shipping will be additional depending on location.
