1958 Vintage Rolex Oyster Precision “Asian Market” Textured Dial Ref 6422

A very rare and early bird 1958 Rolex Oyster Precision reference 6422 with an excellent inverse guilloché dial with warm patina and arrow silver applied indexes and explorer numerals. This dial was designed exclusively for the Asian Market. The watch is in excellent condition showing light signs of age and or scratches.
Full disclosure, I do think one of the hands has been relumed but at the time I purchased this, I felt the overall attractiveness of the whole watch, and the ...dial, was worth it. Sometimes these things are emotional decisions. Also full disclosure, I paid $5500 for this from Harbor Watches (a well known dealer in Paris), which again is above market, but this is a rare variant, and an attractive example at that.
