Up for sale is very nice example of a vintage 1970s Omega Speedmaster Professional, with only one previous owner. I've owned a few speedmasters and this one is by far in the most exceptional vintage condition. The watch is from the late 1970s, reference 145.022 ST, powered by the Omega Cal 861 manual wind movement. The watch is keeping time and winding/setting very smoothly. Chronograph crisply starts and stops, and all hands reset to zero consistently. Just serviced by a reputable watc...hmaker in Los Angeles earlier in 2020. None of the original parts were replaced at time of service. This is as good as it gets for a vintage speedy pro in original condition without getting near the 5-figure price tag territory of a Cal 321 pre-moon watch. Notice the correct DNN bezel with slightly larger font than the modern speedmaster professional, and charming "drop r" text on the dial printing. Features a 42mm case diameter with 20mm lug width.Overall condition is great for its age, though please notice slight normal wear throughout. The case is unpolished with original finishing and defined edges intact. The tritium on hands and indices have aged quite evenly to a beautiful color. Looks even better in the metal than in the photos. The Hesalite crystal is in great shape and is original to the watch. The dial has never been refinished, with very miild patina and nice texture on the stepped dials of the chronograph subregisters. Original movement in excellent shape. The watch comes on the steel Omega bracelet as well as several high-quality leather straps that I've picked out specifically to complement its look. Happy to provide strap IDs or any other details; don't hesitate to ask. This is an icon and a classic, and it will be shipped expedited carefully with insurance and signature confirmation. Check out my feedback and other items, and happy watch hunting!
