Wow what a machine! This is a rare beauty. This October 31 1922 Singer Model 66 Red Eye is of museum quality. The Original Red Eye decals are in near perfect condition, and have been well preserved by their beautiful French Polish Finish. The five drawer cabinet and the original veneer are in exceptional condition. The cast iron base has been disassembled, stripped and repainted. The Singer Logo has been painted by Hand. The base was greased at pivot points, reassemble...d, and then the original cabinet was remounted. The machine head has been French polished to protect the decals for at least another hundred years. This machine has been fully serviced, cleaned and lubricated. Timing and adjustments were made to produce prefect lock stitches. This Grand Old Lady sews beautifully.
