When I was a child more than 40+ years ago my father was in the antique jewelry business. From time to time he would come home with different treasures and occasionally he would let me "acquire" them! I am selling all of my collection and it ranges from necklaces to sterling pins, to rhinestone Deco pieces and more. Please check often as you never know what surprise I might put up!
This is a terrific find!!They sure don't make things with as much creativity and... quality as they did years past!This is a very unusual antique/vintage Copper (I think) and Marble round Ashtray. It has a very unusual design. After you rest the ashes on the top, you push the top lever down and it twirls open the inner piece and the ashes fall inside the bowl. It measures approx. 5 3/4" across (diameter at the top.)It is a real conversation starter!!It has great patina and character! It does have some residue or rust on the top piece and inside the marble bowl is dirt/residue but that is what you would expect!!Please pay within three days. If you have a problem and are unable to do so, please let me know. I do combine shipping costs to save you money. I charge true shipping charges plus a few cents for packaging materials. Some Ebay Sellers list their items really low and then jack up the shipping charges to put in their profit. Not me.If there is a mistake, please contact me.
