Antique Framed Oval Canvas Girl & Dove Pastel Painting; Up for sale is this oval portrait depicting in pastel a gentle girl holding a dove, dated circa 1820. The painting was done on a very thin canvas that was attached to the glass and framed. Not signed, the artwork, however, was attributed to an English artist in the early 19th century.
Measures: Portrait panel, 16 ½” x 13”; Frame, 21” x 18”. Condition: overall in very good antique condition, exce...pt with mottled surfaces, consistent with age. Around the frame on the left side, there are two tiny missing pieces.
