I am always trying to offer the nicest vintage watches here on eBay. This is a very cool vintage Gallet Triple date Triple register Swiss chronograph watch that dates back to the 1940's. If this Gallet watch were running I might have to keep it for myself..... This all stainless steel watch measure...s 34.3 mm wide not including the two oval pushers and is missing its crown. The case is SIGNED on the inside of the pop-off case back and has the number 437 on the inside. The outside of the case back has the number 43437. Clearly marked stainless steel. The lugs are spaced at 11/16 inch width. The SIGNED dial is decent but does have a burn like mark at the 4 o'clock edge. I believe the dial is original. There is one register hand missing otherwise all of the other 6 hands are present. This watch has the day, date and month calendar features and along with a triple register is a very complex timepiece. The Swiss made movement is SIGNED and is a 17 Jewel column wheel chronograph movement. This is a script "R" under the balance. The balance is winging freely and this watch is NOT running.
