HILV Bartow Portable Beacon Runway Light
These lovely portable beacon runway lights where made in America by The Line Manufacturing Company of Pennsylvania. They were used by the Americans in the UK and Europe to make landing in fog a lot easier. They have a large outer glass dome made by Corning and a huge Fresnel lens insi...de. Big light Approx 650mm in height and 400mm in diameter with a weight of 20kgs. These lights were mostly painted yellow but I have four of them in different colours. Green, silver, green - yellow and original yellow. The original yellow has the original wiring and cooling fan. Other lights have a standard domestic lamp fitted. But will be sold without a plug and will need to be rewired by a qualified electrician. See my other listings. Collection will be fine vie Covid restrictions.
