Scarce Antique General Electric 12" Brass 1890 Alternating Current Fan, Pancake Motor
VERY NICE and Scarce Antique General Electric 12" Brass 1890 Alternating Current Fan, Pancake Motor. The fan is cast iron as found in the original home, it has brass blades. It is a 4 blade brass fan. It has the name plate on the top back, Type U.I. Form E.7. Patwent dates read Pat. March 19, 89 , June 4, 89 July 30, 89, May 27, 90. It stands 15 1/2" tall and... the cage is 12 1/2" in diameter
This is in very good condition overall, there is a lot of the original black paint, some surface rust and missing paint. There are no breaks. One part of the circular part of the cage in the back is separated. The plug looks to be in good condition but we do not feel comfortable plugging it in.
