antique wardrobe. I believe by its construction to be mid 1800's in age. This is a very nice solid walnut piece. This is a knockdown construction so it is easy to move and assemble, It is all stripped and ready to finish to your taste. It is not missing any hardware and I believe it looks to be original to the piece. When I purchased this it was missing the bottom 5" "kick panel" or skirt. I have replaced this with reclaimed antique walnut. it matches perfectly and blends i...n with the other wood. You can see the repair from the under side of the base. I just want anyone interested to know of this repair upfront. I have reglued most of the joints in the piece and it is very solid now. The rest of the wood was all in good shape and didn't need any repair other than gluing. it is all sanded and ready to stain and finish. The carvings at the top of the doors are very beautiful and unique. I'm sorry this is the only pic I have. it was taken at a flea market where I had it for sale and I couldn't get around it very well. The inside has a vertical divider in the center and a shelf at the top. The back is paneled, original and in good shape also.If you are interested in it and don't like finishing i would be willing to finish for an additional cost. I thought It might appeal to more people if they could finish it to their liking. This would be a local pickup only. It is located around 50 miles east of St Louis. it knocks down and stacks in a bundle about 6 foot long and 2 feet tall. The dimensions are 57" wide at door area, 64.5 at the top molding, 21" deep, 88" tall.
