Description of item for sale:This Louis XIV period antique door is from France and it dates to approximately 1700.  Notice the pegged construction, hand carvings and the very crude finish on the rear surface-all indications of its age.  It is made from solid oak and finished to a beautifully patinated natural oak color.  The complete, original hinges are with it.  This door is not tall enough for a person-sized entry but would make a pe...rfect pantry or linen closet door.  The lock works and it is the correct style but is a newer replacement.  Overall this door is in very good antique condition with various chips, scratches and cracks consistent with its 300+ years of existence.  Dimensions: 61.5" tall, 32" wide (at the crown) and 7/8" thick.  (4659)
