ww2 japanese samurai katana sword. Sorry, I am not qualified to tell you how old or who made it ? I believe it was carried during the war and is authentic. But whether it was made then or earlier, I’m just not sure. Blade has an approximate cutting edge of 26 1/4 inches. The sword is stout and well balanced. There is no signature but defined file marks , the fittings are quite plain , the scabbard is leather covered, the leather is a bit tattered I see no rust flaws or gouges i...n the blade to the untrained eye thank you and please bid according to your knowledge and the many pictures shipping will be $35
