Old Handwritten 5 Year Diary (1946 thru 1950) Written By A Lady Who lived in extreme Western New York Or Eastern Pennsylvania. Her name was Clara T. Babcock. After briefly looking the diary over here are some examples of subject matter that I found:Son of lassie movie.Worked all day on half pig and made lard.Col. Krueger’s Funeral.Home circle sewing.Oakes & Burger (?) steelworkers strike.Heard that Helen’s baby died.I took treatment of ...Dr. Wilcox today.Father’s birthday born 1856.Feelings high on strike.Entertained the Civic League.Went to the Hamburg Fair today.Letchworth Park.Dunkirk Hospital.TOWNS MENTIONED:Ellicotville, Youngstown, Rockport, Lockport, Asheville, Cuba, Gowandy, Hamburg And several more.I’ve not read much of the diary, so there should be lot’s more information to be found.
