Qing Dynasty, Shisou Marks, 19th Century Very good quality bronze with Good casting quality and a rich even brown patina. Even better is that it comes with the matching Bronze stand or under tray which is typically lost or separated. Both pieces are marked 'Shisou' which is typical of these silver-inlaid bronzes. Very attractive shape with nicely tapered legs to a bulbous body and tipped in handles. The inlay decoration of key patterns, ruyi heads, scrolling vines, and archaic symbols. Nice heavy feel as the combined weight is about 1 Kg. Dimensions:
Censer Height: 5.25" (13.5 cm)
Tray Diameter: 4.75" (12 cm) Condition: Excellent Condition. No damage. Just some normal wear on the tray from the censer feet.
