Original Description:
UNIQUE early cast iron antique natural gas iron with diamond grid bottom you see on polishing irons. I have never seen an old gas iron with this type bottom. Marked "Koenig" on back door that lifts up and has an unusual flat point. Good condition, no breaks or repairs, some plating loss, bottom is very smooth. Small in size and only measures 6 inches long. This old early antique gas iron would make a nice addition to any cast iron sad iron, flat iron or early natural gas iron collectio...n.
