1 1/2” thick x 7” long solid wooden boat souvenir from Sloppy Joe’s bar in Havana Cuba. May have been an ashtray and if it is it’s missing the bowl that would drop in the crater. What’s really neat is the sticker on the bottom. “Sloppy Joe’s Bar Special Cocktails Retailers Large Stock Of Best Liquors Havana Cuba” I don’t think it has any connection to Ernest Hemingway’s boats as he was know to hang out in the day. Had incised work on the front bow of the boat on bot...h side. Sloppy Joe’s on one side and Havana on the other, the parts on top rotates and that’s why I think it may have been an Ashtray. Shows wear but no chips or cracks. I will provide several pictures. S&H applies.
