Vintage Rare, Oberon Target Hand Wind Jump Hour Digital Watch
Item History & Price
This early jump hour watchhas an Oberon, Swiss hand wound, 17J movement clearly marked “Oberon WatchCo.” although this is not clear in my photo, which dates this watch Pre 1975. The watch keepsexcellent time (-20 seconds) per week. In good + condition, with somesigns of wear and use, but very good considering it is almost 50years old. The movement runs very well and is very clean as can beseen in my photo. The case back is stainless steel, clearly markedwith the Oberon oval logo. The bracelet is also stainless steel, butbeing an early 70's Swiss budget watch, the case is plated base metalas can be expected. The watch winds and adjusts perfectly with noissues.Vintage jump hour watchesfrom the 70's are becoming very rare and sought after, especially inthis condition. The watch has been in my personal collection and Iwould rate it's condition as a good 8/10. It is almost 50 years old, so it's not perfect. The watch has been one of my favourites and is atrue collectors piece.
