Oversize 1940’s Phigied Multi scale Vintage Chronograph, Angelus Mvt.. Condition is "Pre-owned".
Really neat multi scale (telemeter and tachymeter) chronograph. Scales are printed in blue with blued steel hands. The dial is signed Phigied Extra. The telemeter scale is in kilometers.
The movement is a 17 jewel signed Angelus 215. The watch was cleaned and serviced several years ago and keeps time with all functions working.
The case is chromed base metal with big solid lugs... and a stainless steel snap back lid. Of note, when the watch was made, the hole for the top pusher wasn’t aligned quite evenly so when starting the chronograph with the top pusher, some care is needed when pushed so the pusher button does not stick. The actual chronograph mechanism works fine though. The watch will take a size 19mm band (band not included). The watch is 37mm across excluding the crown.
Been in my collection for several years but it hasn’t been getting much wrist time as of late.
