Vintage CIRCA 1910-13 E.A. PFLUEGER "WORTH Trademark" **Fine German Silver** Fish/Cast Reel *Jeweled*. Okay so this reel is a little bit of a mystery. I did as much research as I could and here is what I know. This reel was made by E.A. Pflueger sometime between 1910-14 before he returned to work at Enterprise. The reel was never cataloged as far as I can tell. There were some inserts in those years in catalogs late in 1914 but nothing that identifys this reel version. I ha...ve the first E.A. Pflueger Worth Trademark reel as well at they have some things in common but most not.. This reel has both buttons on the face which is different from the first model. This reel has no rear plate rings on its rear plate face... This reel does have the exact same face plate writting and not written in script like the Enterprise version in 1914. No Bulldog, no Pflueger name. The handle grip is different and more like the 1914 grip. Its a 60 yard reel and the foot and handle design seem like both versions. This reel is also heavier than the first Worth Model. So this is a tough one but I am sure someone will email me in there idea of exactly what I have here. Please let me know ur thoughts I never take it personal. I try my best. Great Reel functions perfect. Everything is smooth fast and reliable. Serial number on the back plate shows #1389 Based on that I am thinking this was probally built closer to 1913 possible during the period E.A. Pflueger joining or rejoining Enterprise. WHO KNOWS. Please help.
