Offered is a vintage 1984 Chelsea “Boston” 8 day ships bell and barometer set. 4 1/2” dials. Screw bezels. Recently polished and clear coated. Movement has been lubricated. Runs and strikes 8 bell ships strike correctly. Barometer has been pressure tested. These cases are the superior Chelsea heavy brass cases. The gong is a Chelsea gong. The tone sounds like a Chelsea not the typical German sounding gong. This movement is German made, not made by Ch...elsea. Shipping will run $35.00 within the US. Comes with a generic winding key. For its age, the pair look almost brand new.
