CONDITION: The shield is in good condition considering its age of 300- 200 years old, showing age and usage, some age wear overall.
This type of the large black painted hide shields was very fashionable amongst the Mughal and Persian royalties and aristocracy during the 17th-18th century, which can be seen on the Mughal miniatures of this period time.
