Antique Nautical American Flag 46 Stars Signed By a Captain Myers 1907. Appears to be wool. The flag measures 42x92 inches (approx. 3ft-7in x 7ft-9in.)
This beautiful flag is signed twice, in two different locations by captain “Myers”? Unable to make out the exact name but fairly certain it is Myers. A second name is written but illegible to me. Also written on the flag is “Loyal Legion”. The flag is 46 stitched stars (not printed) on both sides. There are three very small h...oles that I have tried to photograph but overall the flag is very sturdy, not fragile cloth. You can easily handle this flag without worry of it tearing or falling apart. This is a wonderful piece of maritime history. Please note that although I have yet no feedback, I have recently opened this new account for selling only.
