This fabulous, rare, tinplate crawling soldier with sparking rifle has "Made in Germany" along with "D.R.G.M.a" and "D.R.P.a" on the sides and impressed in to the back.The lithographed tin has retained a really good depth of colour, particularly to the underneath.However, the paint does have the usual scuffs, scratches and marks that you would associate with a played with item of this age.I have tried to show the condition in the photographs.The clockwork motor works, the soldier move...s well and the rifle sparks, although not with every 'shot' .It measures 19 cm (7 1/2 inches) long. The clockwork motor works, the soldier moves well and the rifle sparks, although not with every 'shot' .
It measures 19 cm (7 1/2 inches) long. We take great care to describe our items clearly and honestly as possible, including any faults or flaws that we may see.
