Original Description:
SS Normandie first class ashtray.  Used in the four first class Apartments Grand Luxe aboard this most beautiful ship, from 1935-39.  Condition is good with some visible air bubbles in the glass and two flea bites on the insides of two of the cigarette rests, at  5 and 9 o' clock in the full photo.  A minute flea bite also on outer rim.  Some scratches as well from age.  A true rarity from the greatest but shortest lived ocean thoroughbred.
