Presented today is this lovely Hopi Kachina doll, depictingNayaiyataka, the Swaying Man, a recently imported Kachina from the Rio Grandepueblos (probably Santa Clara). He appears in Plaza Dances, and usuallyaccompanies other Kachinas who trace their ancestry to the RioGrande. This splendid example stands 10 inches tall, and is not often carved, despite the fact that he is such a handsome Kachina. He is carved by ConradTorivio, a talented carver that i have followed from the v...ery beginning ofhis career. Conrad’s work is always strong and clean, very well-madeand very traditional. Just recently, I had the good fortune of acquiring a verylarge number of Conrad and Fermin Torivio’s Kachina dolls, and will bemaking them available to you in the coming weeks. Buy with confidence, for asyou all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediatelyreturn the full purchase price. He’s available today at a VERY modest price, and even better, the shipping is FREE! Thanks for looking and Best Regards, Rich
