Up for your consideration is this really cool viewer for slides, unfortunately I don't have any slides which can probably be found out there somewhere second hand. It looks like it was made during the war for a viewer for slides. The view master we all had has a child won that war but there were probably at least a dozen or so others trying for the win. This looks like one of those it has some cool options the red toggle moves the lenses side to side to get a better eye fit to view thr...ough. The mechanism has a simple screw in flashlight bulb it takes 2- D size battery's, you push up the red oval button to connect the battery's to the bulb, it's a super simple operation. My favorite part is the marbleized early grey plastic it is made out of it has that mid-century toy, or plastic cups & bowls look to it.
