I am a big fan of vintage Seiko watches. When I started collecting watches 30 years ago you could buy these Seiko watches for nothing. Now they have become more popular and appreciated for how well they were made. Here is a hard to find Seiko L33 Sea Lion Diashock watch and is running. This is a Model 6220-899...0 and has a serial # 9800365. This hard to find Seiko dates back to August 1967. The Seiko SIGNED gold tone case measures 35.4 mm wide and has 18 mm lug spacing. The case back is stainless steel and is a screw-off case back with the Sea Lion engraved on the center of the case back. Just a touch of plating pitting on the back case edge. The SIGNED dial is very clean and has neat tall pyramid gold hour markers. Matching gold sword hands with luminescent inserts. Thin center sweep second hand. The crystal is clean but does have an edge crack at the 9 o'clock edge. There is a used black leather strap attached. While this 53 year old Seiko Sea Lion Diashock Japan made watch is running I am selling it as-is and as found. I have no service records for this watch.
