DESCRIPTION Here is a fine pair of Gorham Sterling Egg Cups with chicken legs and feet. Signed sterling and Gorham mark that dates these to 1852-1865.... They have exceptional detail and character, heavy gauge sterling silver with a gold wash interior. Very elegant and charming! Outstanding condition, sturdy with good weight and without dents or monogram. They weigh 3.45 troy oz (107.37g) total, approx 2 1/2". These are quite hard to find! The pictures don't do them justice! Could use bit of polishing, nice antiques without detracting marks, pits etc. This is for TWO egg cups, I have a third from this set that I am selling separately on my other listings. Makes a beautiful gift!
