A heavily potted square dish with a characteristic river scene and scrolling border on blue reserve. Da Ming nian zhi mark. The dish is in late Ming style, typical of porcelain for the Japanese export marker and probably of the period, but the Japanese also copied wares of this type and it is possible that it is a later piece.Diameter 16cmCondition: Good condition,... with glaze losses from the edges as expected and a 3x4mm chip on the rim, but no other damage.
