Original Description:
Vintage Zippo Lighter 4 Barrel Hinge 14 Hole Insert that was owned by my Father-in-Law and gently used as he quit smoking cigarettes upon his return from service with the American Army Engineering Amphibian Units (part of the US Army Corps of Engineers) during World War II in the Pacific Theatre.  Both the lighter case and insert are non-ferrous (non magnetic) and are assumed to be brass.  The lid is very tight as the lighter appears to have had little use.
Please review a...ll photos for accurate condition and please feel free to ask questions or request additional photos.  Please note: Some photos appear to have a slight green tint due to reflections from the green smartphone case and are not due to any stains or discolorations in the lighter itself.
Lighter may need service prior to operation as it has been in storage for nearly 75 years; however, a new Zippo flint is in place and the striker wheel sparks and is operational.  There appears to be no wick.  There has been no attempt to clean, polish or restore this lighter other than the installation of the new flint. 
The lighter will be packaged with extreme care and shipped via USPS First Class Mail
