The Bulova Watch Company was established by Joseph Bulova in 1875 producing watches predominately for the American market. The watches were assembled in New York USA but included movements from Bulova's factories in Switzerland. In the 1930's they were renowned for producing fine Art Deco watches which were bo...th aesthetically beautiful and mechanically sound.We are offering for sale this neat, eye-catching, triple signed 1945 ladies 14 carat gold filled BULOVA wristwatch which is in excellent order. This lovely timepiece is simply styled with a perfectly square, fine bezelled case complemented by small slim lugs. The rose hued dial is gorgeous. This piece has been fully serviced and supplied and fitted with a new lizard leather strap. It is now ready for wear. CASE: The 14 carat pink gold filled case is in beautiful order and retains a high lustre. It is signed 'Bulova, New York' and displays the serial number 5266429. The watch measures 26mm lug to lug and 19mm across (19mm x 19mm case alone) excluding the rose winding crown. DIAL: Superb Bulova signed, rose dial which is in superb order. It has applied black Roman numerals to denote the quarter hours and neat 'dots' for the rest and outer Chapter dial. The gold 'Bulova own styled' hands are as new.GLASS: The crystal glass remains clean and clear. MOVEMENT: Superior, Bulova USA, 17 jewel 7AM movement. This has recently been fully serviced. It carries the date marked for 1945STRAP: Supplied on a new brown lizard leather strap with anti allergy buckle.It is proving more and more difficult to find these beautiful vintage Art Deco timepieces in such excellent order.
