I can not remember where I found this treasure. I have never smoked but thought it was very eyecatching. When you push down, on the button, the lid flips up, so you can gain access to the inside. All in working order
After looking online, I still have No idea about it's age 1950's or 60's.After finding a similar one, I think it maybe made of a leather material.The mottled texturing is very appealing and tactile That strap accent is a fantastic detailThe brass i...s all nice and shiny. Along the right inside rim engraved is a Patent # & along the inside rim/opposite the latch, also engraved, is the word 'GERMANY'
Closed the case measures approx. 4 1/4" L x 2 3/8 W x 1" Deep BTW... It is the perfect size for carrying a couple of rolled face masks, too...
