Antique LANDIS Machine Co. LEATHER CUTTER Strap CastIron Cobbler Hand CrankAntique Landis Machine Co. cast iron leather strap cutter with handcrank. Machine is nicely distressed, retaining just enough of the original signaturegreen + black paint. Body is marked ‘LANDIS’ in bold, raised lettering on bothsides. It has both the original brass plaques, one featuring the company name& location and the other listing the serial number.Measures approximately 17” tall and 12” wi...de at top (not including woodhandle). Cutting mouth measures approx. 6 ½” across.In very good all-original antique condition. Hand crank turns smoothlyand all gears and have been kept lubricated. There is one small nick in the edgeof cutting blade This machine has not been restored or altered in any way andhas a lovely natural patina.
