This listing is for a vintage Evans pack mule table lighter in copper. The lighter has some wear on it, especially the insert, and it does have one flaw, but overall it is in very good condition. The base is very heavy for it's size; it's right at 1 pound 8 ounces. I am not certain what type of metal the base is at it's core, but I believe the outside is copper. It has a beautiful patina, and it has not been touched with any cleaner; I only wiped it off with a cloth. I suspect it would... clean up nicely if desired, but I DO NOT guarantee it will; I personally love the natural patina. The one flaw that I find is one of the feet is broken from leg, you can see it in the fourth picture, but with a little JB Weld it should be as solid as ever. I will leave it to the new owner to decide if they want to fix it, but the lighter sits and displays well. The lighter insert's finish is gone for the most part. There is a hint of the copper finish it had at one time, but it is all but gone at this point. The insert does operate smoothly, and the flint tube is clear; with a flint inserted a nice spark is produced. This is a petrol lighter, and it has NOT been filled and tested. This lighter is featured in one of the Evans guides I have, and is sure to be a wonderful addition to any collection. Thank you for looking.
