Up for your consideration is a approx., 10 cm. X  3 cm. X 3 cm., diopside matrix piece containing a pocket of  gemmy, orange, grossular garnets, calcite crystals and diopside crystals! The garnets range in size from 4mm to approx. 8 mm. The specimen is not perfect some of the larger crystals are fractured, and several garnets missing. The base has been diamond sawn, trimmed to sit perfectly.  I recovered this specimen some years back when the Eden Mills quarry, located i...n Lowell Vt. was open.                                               Need any more details feel free to write!
