This auction is for an adorable set of 3 Japanese wood nodder kokeshi nesting dolls from the post WW2 mid-century 1950s. The Mom kokeshi doll measures 4" high, the middle child measures 1.5" tall, and the baby measures just 1/2" tall. The Mom is a nodder, while the 2 children's heads are stationary. The smaller dolls "nest" inside of the larger dolls. Mom is wearing a beautiful kimono and obi, while the little girls are wearing red flowers on their kimonos. &nb...sp;Please see below for flaws. This set of 3 Japanese wood kokeshi dolls is in good vintage condition - hard to find many flaws other than some missing paint on the white flowers - and would make a great addition to your growing collection. White areas are camera glare. Please remember that this is a vintage piece that may have minor imperfections, such as dust/dirt/dings/scratches/scuffs/age spots. And please note the size of this piece as the pictures may make it look larger than it actually is.
