Here For Auction is a Beautiful Victorian Antique, Chester Hallmarked Silver Fusee Pocket Watch By - R. Wright. & Co. Coventry.This lovely Chester Hallmaked 'B' = 1885 .925 silver pocket watch, case No 22887, is in good condition considering it's age, no bad dents or scratches just some shallow dimples, some fairly heavy pocket wear, the hinges are good, but both back and front open and close nicely. The glass is very good. The lovely porcelain dial Signed - 22887. is ver...y good with no chips or stains just two very fine hairlines. It has blued steel spear and whip hands, black Roman numerals with outer minute track and a sub seconds dial at 6- o'clock, The watch measures 53 mm across x 19 mm thick.The Makers Mark is - T.W for - Thomas Wolley, Clock maker and Silversmith of - Bridge Street Row, Chester. Registered - 1873.
It has a full plate 7 jewel Fusee - key wind and set chain driven movement Signed -R. Wright & Co. Coventry. No, 22887 with English lever escapement is running very well and keeping good time.Please Note- As this watch is over 100 years old there is no guarantee on timekeeping.
