MOUNTS ARE OF BRASS, POMMEL IS MARKED ON THE SIDE AND ON TOP WITH ISLAMIC LETTERS OR NUMBERS, GRIP IS CARVED WOOD. BLADE IS STRONG SINGLE EDGED WITH LARGE FULLER, RICASSO WELL MARKED. SCABBARD IS STEEL, TOP AND BOTTOM ALSO WELL MARKED. CONDITION IS GOOD WITH AGE WEAR AND PATINA, BLADE AND HILT ARE TIGHT. LIKELY 1800s - EARLY 1900s.
