Antique 9ct Gold Insect/Bee Brooch Pearl/Paste in Antique Harrods Box Marked 9CT
A beautiful quality rose gold insect/bee brooch in original antique Harrod's of London box
In very good condition for age. The green paste stone has wear and chips when viewed very closely with an eye glass. The pink/ruby paste eyes don't match so one must have been replaced at some point, also I can see a tiny blob of solder on the back and near the wing so it may have been repaired/reinforced.... Not visible to the naked eye as so tiny so does not detract from it's overall loveliness!The navy blue and gold Harrod's box is excellent and has a good strong snap closure
Good strong pin (also 9ct gold) hinge and C clasp all original and working well. Also a loop for a safety chain is present, a very high quality piece
