Downton Abbey Royal Worcester Mapin Webb Sterling Cased Demitasse Set of 6. The 6 sterling spoons are properly hallmarked by Mapin & Webb for London and 1890 - exactly the era of Season 1 of Downton Abbey.The cups and saucers appear to have been a lavish wedding gift but never used (perhaps because Edith was jilted at the altar). Each spoon has a mellow gold wash to perfectly compliment the enameled tomato reddish rust body, sunshine yellow, and heavy gold applications on the... china itself.The set is in wonderful unused condition with no signs of breaks or hairlines cracks. One cup has two paint losses with popped porcelain, pictured. Oddly enough, the white under body has glaze applied so this leads me to believe this was a production error versus damage after it was received.The pieces measure as pictured.Good luck!!!
